I have used the concepts I have learned from the concept tracker in my classes. The concepts I have been using are audience and context. In the class I've been writing essays for books we have been reading and the concepts have been used to improve these essays. I use the audience concept to determine how I should write the essay. It determines the wording I use and how I use the next concept which is context. The amount of context I use is little since the audience is the teacher and other students who have read the book. With the small amount of context used the meaning of my essays should be understandable since everyone in class has read the same thing.
Better than assumptions:- Communication
CAD, Communication across disciplines has always been a rejoicing experience for me. I never see this class to be a place where I work academically as a student but I believe it is a platform for me to express my thoughts clearly and receive informative feedback for it. I sense the freedom of speech that's offered to me in this class where the environment is unbiased and encouraging towards self-betterment at almost everything. For students enrolling in CAD with Dr. Graff, it would be a worthful opportunity to develop life skills especially when it comes to communication. Communication is the tact that allows people to interact and express ideas vividly and helps others perceive you better.
